TESOL UMC welcomes students of all nationalities, genders, religions and ethnic groups. Our school has enrolled students from up to twenty-two countries across four continents.

Age Requirement
To enroll in the Primary School program, children should ideally have reached age 5 by the start of classes in September.
Grade Placement
All new students are tested for grade placement. As a school with small classes which tries to address the educational needs of each child, a student might not begin at TESOL in their previous grade level.
New to English?
We accept children without prior English-language education. Depending on age, most will enroll in an Intensive English (ELL) program for one full school year before placement in regular classes.
Younger primary-level students may enter regular classrooms directly. Kindergarten-age children typically begin with their age cohort and adapt successfully.
